It's Our Birthday Month-- well kinda.
9 Fantastic Years Folks!
Although "Itty-Bitty Portraits" officially opened for business January 2006, May seems to be our "Month" for big things so it became our celebration month by default.
May, 2006 we decided to give up one room in our house for an official studio, I was terrified someone would walk through my house and see it and say my pictures were horrible so the door stayed shut during dinner parties. Yep. Terrified. Little did I know with a baby crawling around the house and one more on it's way, this business would be become our 'middle child' as we call it and require just as much time and nourishment as a real baby. Totally worth it.
In May 2007 we moved business to Billings and I swore off photography for a few months. Yep. For reals. Then picked up the camera and took my favorite photo to date. The only one hanging in my new house right now. Funny the way it is.
May 2008 we moved into our 17th Street location where I met so many of you. wink emoticon It was a tiny little place where so many relationships started. It's tiny walls were perfect for newborn shoots. Perfect.
Then, 2010 to our Montana Ave location, man I miss that place. My love for downtown poured out on the streets and I loved the sunshine there.
May 2012 we moved to our Broadway location to hopefully some day open a store too, never would have dreamed Ca-Layla would have blossomed into everything it has.
And here we are 3 years into our stay on Broadway and I can't tell you how much I love being downtown. Love this community. Love the store. Love what I do!
If you would have told me 9 years ago this would be, I would have giggled in disbelief. Thank you to all our clients who have made my dreams come true. It's be a journey with lots of exciting moments and I am forever grateful friends.

I am happy I chose photography vs. crosswords, that sounds like a lonely adventure-- just you, your pencil, crossword books........ nope, that is NOT for me.
Now, enter our giveaway and let me give you a big-ole-virtual-hug for all your love and support over 9 years.
